Homefield Primary Pupils Crowned ‘Net Zero Heroes’ in Hemiko Art Competition

Hemiko was proud to announce the winners of its Net Zero Hero art competition, held in partnership with Homefield Primary School. The competition invited students to imagine what being a “net zero hero” looks like – and the results were creative, inspiring, and full of bright ideas for a greener future.

From superhero climate warriors to a heart-shaped world, the entries showed just how passionate young people in Worthing are about protecting the planet. After much deliberation (and some very tough decisions), Hemiko awarded a group of winners whose artwork stood out for its creativity and climate-conscious messages.

To celebrate their achievement, the winning drawings are now proudly displayed on the Hemiko site hoarding – a vibrant reminder of the next generation’s energy and imagination.

We’d like to thank all the children who took part. Your artwork was fantastic, and we were blown away by your enthusiasm. It was not easy choosing the winners, and every entry reminded us why we’re building a cleaner, more sustainable future for Worthing.
